Get ready for the St. Martin’s Lantern Parade! Join Army Community Service (ACS) and Child & Youth Services (CYS) for a fun, family-friendly lantern-making workshop.

Create your own colorful lantern to carry during this traditional German celebration. All supplies are provided, so just bring your creativity!

Workshop Dates & Locations:

  • November 5 | 3:30–4:30 p.m.
    at Garmisch Library
  • November 9 | 5:30–7 p.m.
    at Pete Burke Community Center

Bring the family, make a lantern and enjoy complimentary refreshments courtesy of GEMS-PTA as we celebrate this special community tradition!

Don’t forget your handmade lantern at the St. Martin’s Lantern Parade on November 10 at 6 p.m., beginning at Garmisch Elementary Middle School (GEMS).
