USAG Bavaria recognizes Volunteers that provide outstanding service to our Garrison

Volunteering is a defining part of the American experience. From the Minutemen at Lexington to today’s all volunteer force, the Army relies on the fundamental connection between volunteerism and citizenship. Volunteerism stabilizes our Army communities by contributing to community cohesion, increasing self-reliance, and enhancing the well-being of our Soldiers and their Families.

Our Volunteer Recognition Ceremonies are held every spring in the USAG Bavaria, in coordination with National Volunteer Week. The event recognizes the efforts of those who have given their time and talent to make the community a great place to live and work.
